Show Jumping Course – Get Ready for the Riding Badge, January 8–10, 2027
About this course
The winter months offer the ideal opportunity to focus on the fundamentals of show jumping and prepare for upcoming competitions.
That is why our show jumping clinic in January offers a choice between two different training focuses. This approach allows us to tailor the training content specifically to the respective skill level and the personal goals of both rider and horse.
Ready for the Riding Badge
This program is designed for riders who are specifically preparing for a riding badge or who want to further improve their fundamentals and safety in show jumping.
The focus is on a secure and balanced seat, a steady rhythm, and improving the transition between obstacles. Depending on the rider’s skill level, individual obstacles, distances, and sections of the course are systematically worked on.
Riders with little show jumping experience are also welcome. Group placement and requirements are tailored to each individual so that every participant can be supported at an appropriate level.
Participation: You may participate with your own horse or a school horse.
Those who would like to combine the course days with a more intensive training phase can arrive as early as January 7, 2027 , and schedule additional training sessions.
The skills learned can be put into practice immediately under conditions similar to those of a competition. Our trainers guide participants through their preparation and warm-up, assist with course management, and provide personalized feedback afterward.
This ensures a seamless transition from training to the course —and thus provides real added value for everyone who wants to start the new competition season with targeted preparation.

Additional training: Arrival possible starting January 7
Optional: Extended stay including instructor guidance for course jumping
Location: Schulze Niehues Farm – Equestrian Training School
Accommodations: right here on our farm
Horse: Depending on the training focus, you may use your own horse or a school horse
If you bring your own horse – then book with a guest horse box.
The horses are accommodated in shavings boxes.
Feeding of concentrated feed and roughage (oats, pellets) is included.
You are responsible for mucking out the boxes.
Payment
The examination fees are charged directly on site.
You pay for your booking on site by EC card.
